How can I add reflection to a C++ application?
...rate the data about each field(plus the field itself). This macro will be called like this:
REFLECTABLE
(
(const char *) name,
(int) age
)
So using Boost.PP we iterate over each argument and generate the data like this:

(edit: 9/20/2019) In version 3.6.1
It may be helpful to convert loaded only names(sessionInfo()$loadedOnly) to explicitly attached packages first, and then detach the packages, as so.

Why are all fields in an interface implicitly static and final?
I am just trying to understand why all fields defined in an Interface are implicitly static and final . The idea of keeping fields static makes sense to me as you can't have objects of an interface but why they are final (implicitly)?

uint8_t vs unsigned char

It documents your intent - you will be storing small numbers, rather than a character.
Also it looks nicer if you're using other typedefs such as uint16_t or int32_t.

Why does Python code use len() function instead of a length method?
...on objects which have a length and use the built-in len() function, which calls it for you, similar to the way you would implement __iter__() and use the built-in iter() function (or have the method called behind the scenes for you) on objects which are iterable.

When would anyone use a union? Is it a remnant from the C-only days?
I have learned but don't really get unions. Every C or C++ text I go through introduces them (sometimes in passing), but they tend to give very few practical examples of why or where to use them. When would unions be useful in a modern (or even legacy) case? My only two guesses would be programming ...
