JdbcTemplate queryForInt/Long is deprecated in Spring 3.2.2. What should it be replaced by?

SQL Server ':setvar' Error
...TABASE [$DatabaseName] it was simply CREATE DATABASE MYDBNAME. This script now works to create my database via executenonquery() during my first application startup after install.
