Why does this assert throw a format exception when comparing structures?
...b = 2;
Assert.AreEqual(a, b, "Not equal {0} {1}", a, b);
And this works (outputs the message):
var a = new{c=1};
var b = new{c=2};
Console.WriteLine(string.Format("Not equal {0} {1}", a, b));
But this doesn't work (throws a FormatException):
var a = new{c=1};
var b = new{c=2};
Assert.AreEqual(...

raise IndexError, "The index (%d) is out of range."%key
return self.getData(key) #Get the data from elsewhere
else:
raise TypeError, "Invalid argument type."
The slice doesn't return the same type, which is a no-no, but it works for me.

What is the difference between “long”, “long long”, “long int”, and “long long int” in C++?
I am transitioning from Java to C++ and have some questions about the long data type. In Java, to hold an integer greater than 2 32 , you would simply write long x; . However, in C++, it seems that long is both a data type and a modifier.

Cleanest and most Pythonic way to get tomorrow's date?

@J.F.Sebastian Right, I was just trying to point out that days aren't always 24 hours long. No wonder working with dates is so difficult; it's hard to even communicate about them :/

Confusion: @NotNull vs. @Column(nullable = false) with JPA and Hibernate

@Shahzeb: The question isn't about who supports/provides JSR 303 validation. It's about which ORM(s) recognize JSR 303 annotations like @NotNull, @Size, @Min, @Max, etc., and translate those into database constraints.

When should I use double instead of decimal?

Edit:
Regarding your additional question about the decrease in accuracy of floating-point numbers after operations, this is a slightly more subtle issue. Indeed, precision (I use the term interchangeably for accuracy here) will steadily decrease after each operation i...
