$PHP_AUTOCONF errors on mac os x 10.7.3 when trying to install pecl extensions
...a. I did it like you said, suing brew and I also created a variable export PHP_AUTOCONF=/usr/bin/autoconf to be sure and it worked fine. Just edited the php.ini adding a extension=apcu.so on the end.
