NOW() is used to insert the current date and time in the MySQL table. All fields with datatypes DATETIME, DATE, TIME & TIMESTAMP work good with this function.

git update-index --assume-unchanged [<file> ...]
To undo and start tracking again (if you forgot what files were untracked, see this question):
git update-index --no-assume-unchanged [<file> ...]
